Target Goes Down Under to Channel Nine Austraila

channel-9.jpg Australian fans of our comic book hero will also soon be able to see him come to the small screen. Warner Brothers has struck a 500 million dollar deal that will bring Human Target and other Warner produced shows and movies to Australia. Variety writes:

Warner Bros. TV has locked up a renewal of its output deal with Oz's Nine, giving the net programming through 2015.
New deal assures Nine of receiving WBTV content recently announced, including dramas "V" and "Human Target" and comedy "The Middle." Studio's film projects are included in the pact, with the "Harry Potter" franchise being one of the most valuable properties.

Reports indicate the deal was worth approximately $500 million and is the largest output pact in Australian broadcast history.

Deal follows up an output agreement between Warner Bros. and Germany's RTL.
