Human Target held its own against the Golden Globes and 60 minutes. Starting off at 8 pm with 2.7 rating in ages 18-49 it gained at the half hour to 3.1. Though less than the numbers Fox usually brings in on their Sunday comedy hour, the numbers still look hopeful for the fledgling show.

Critics appeared to be mixed. Newsday gave the show rave reviews, while The New York Times declares them, "an A team in a B series." The Hollywood Reporter gave a mixed review saying, "Valley brings a cool confidence to the part and a willingness to throw himself into as many physical fights as the story requires. He has a quiet intensity that works well in many scenes, but one keeps hoping he will have the opportunity to lighten up at times. It doesn't happen in the first two outings (the Sunday pilot and the time-period premiere on Wednesday)."

If you missed the premiere, or just need to see it again, Fox will be re-airing it on Tuesday night at 9pm.
